KUCHING: Thirty asnaf from Kampung Bandarsah and Kampung Masjid received contributions from Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki.
In addition to aiding the asnaf group, he presented a contribution to the chairman of the Kampung Bandarsah Surau, Bolhassan Putit.
The contributions are to be used for organising programmes throughout the month of Ramadan.
Political Secretary to the Premier, Abdul Samat Gany, along with the Muslim congregation, witnessed Ibrahim handing over the contributions to the recipients.
Among those present were Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Satok Branch Religious Bureau chairperson Sarbini Bujang, the PBB Satok Branch Women’s chief Salina Salleh, and the PBB Satok Branch Youth chief Mohamad Akram Mohamed Karim.
