SARIKEI: For the past five years, namely since 2016 up till now, Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii has provided Rural Transformation Project (RTP) allocations to Ming Lik Secondary School here.

This is to give more opportunities to the younger generation to receive Chinese education.

Apart from that, Huang has also donated school bags, school uniforms and school shoes to students in the Repok area continuously for two years.

He hopes that such assistance will help ease the financial burden of parents.

“I am very grateful to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg and urge all people to give their full support to him in leading the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS),” Huang said when attending a mural exhibition at Ming Lik Secondary School.

Meanwhile, he also conducted a survey and visit to the Sarawak Government Service Welfare and Sports Council (Maksak) Sarikei Division.

He reviewed the development progress of the RTP projects which had been allocated to Maksak Sarikei.
