NATIONAL astronaut and TV producer Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor and his wife, Datin Dr Halina Mohd Yunos, announced that they had welcomed their seventh child on Wednesday.
In a recent post on his Facebook page, the 51-year-old Sheikh Muszaphar shared that his wife had safely given birth to a baby boy, whom he named Sheikh Muhammad, who weighed 2.98kg at a hospital in Damansara, Selangor. He also shared that he had chosen the name after the last prophet. “But my other children had different ideas. Noah wanted to name his brother Ibrahim. Tasha wanted Isaac.
Adam wanted his baby brother to be named Adam Junior. Eusoff and Emelia were fine with any. Only Bella agreed with the name,” he said in the post. Perhaps amused with his other children’s reaction to the latest bundle of joy, he said, “Each with different thoughts, but let’s just call him Little Sheikh for now, kids.”
