SIBU: Sibu Street Art Festival 2018 will be held at Chuang Corridor, Sibu Town Square Phase 1 from 5 to 13 May.
Organised by Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) and co-organiser F1 Live Sounds and Lights Sdn Bhd, the festival will be held from 6.30pm to 10pm daily except colouring and drawing contest that falls on 5 May which will start at 4pm at main stage of Sibu Town Square Phase 1.
According to SMC chairman Datuk Tiong Thai King, the launching ceremony of the festival will be held on 6 May at 7.30pm.
He said the venue of launching ceremony is located at temporarily stage under the arch of Chuang Corridor.
“This year, there is a newly introduced component of the event whereby different kinds of workshops are scheduled on every evening to enable visitors and public to learn and get exposed with the making of various handmade products, “ he said at a full council meeting recently.
He said all are encouraged to join and experience all the interesting activities that are scheduled throughout the event.
