SIBU: Sarakup Indu Dayak Sarawak (SIDS) Sibu branch held a Christmas celebration at a longhouse here yesterday.
Often held in hotels or restaurants, the festive celebration for this year took place at Rumah Akul Dagang, Salim-Belalang Road.
The ‘Potluck Lunch Christmas 2019’ programme was organised by SIDS Sibu organising chairperson Doreen Ibrahim, who is also the head of the SIDS Salim-Belalang area.
Present to officiate at the programme was SIDS Sibu chairperson Angelyn Uchi Maseng.
Among the activities held were singing, sports, poco-poco dance and Christmas gift exchange.
About 130 SIDS Sibu members including exco members and area leaders attended the celebration at the longhouse.
