KUCHING: Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (Sheda) Kuching chairman Datuk Sim Kiang Chiok said the conferment of the Panglima Setia Bintang Sarawak (PSBS) award to him by the Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud will encourage him to contribute more and serve the people of Sarawak.

He expressed his appreciation to Taib, Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg and the Sarawak government for the award.

“The award is recognition of my contribution to the property development sector in Sarawak, my political works to unite and improve the social economy of our society, my contributions to the community, and clan association,” he said in a statement yesterday (Oct 10).

Sim, who is also the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Stakan chairman, said he is ready to serve and would continue to serve the people.
