KUCHING: Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin has been recently listed on the Top 100 Most Awarded Musician of All-Time list which included international superstars such as Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Taylor Swift and BTS.
The Malaysian singer was at the 27th spot with a total of 329 awards to her name spanning her illustrious career in the entertainment industry.
Some of the other distinguished luminaries standing behind Siti, included popular singers such as Justin Timberlake (322 awards), Nicki Minaj (314 awards) and Celine Dion (296 awards), who are ranked 28th, 30th and 33rd respectively.
Meanwhile, the Top 10 spots in descending order were populated by Rihanna, Elvis Presley, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Justin Bieber, BTS, Taylor Swift and Beyonce, with Michael Jackson with a whopping 1,003 awards – was listed No.1 on the list.
Siti has been listed in the Malaysia Book Of Records as the artist to have won the most awards since 2001.
Among the many local and international awards, the 43-year-old artiste has garnered over the years are 42 Anugerah Industri Muzik awards, 20 Anugerah Juara Lagu awards, four MTV Asia awards and three World Music Awards.
