KUCHING: Police here explained that a car claiming to bullying other vehicles by moving slowly on the fast lane along Jalan Tun Razak here, was having mechanical issues.
A 17-second video clip of the incident had gone viral on social media and in the clip, the car can be seen braking and moving slowly despite being on the fast lane.
The Kuching district police headquarters (IPD) in a statement, said they managed to interview the driver of the car on Saturday (Feb 11) for investigation.
The driver admitted that he was driving slow as there were problems with his car’s gas pedal.
“He had waved and signalled to the other vehicles behind him to go pass him.
“There was never any intention to bully other motorists as claimed,” the police said.
