Society chips in to help needy

MIRI: A total of 100 underprivileged and needy people here received contributions in conjunction with the Gawai Dayak celebration on Sunday.

The event was hosted by Miri Chee Lee Khor Moral Uplifting Society and the contributions were presented by Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau.

Also present was Miri Chee Lee Khor Moral Uplifting Society chairman Tony Pui.

Dennis applauded the Society for helping the needy groups via the annual event.
