KUCHING: Stakan assemblyman Datuk Hamzah Brahim will provide a grant of RM100,000 for the construction of a trading area at Kampung Quop Dayak.

“I welcome the initiatives by the villagers to do business and sell their own produce.

“Therefore, an allocation worth RM100,000 for the construction of a site to do business in this village will be provided,” the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) quoted Hamzah as saying when he officiated at the Karnival Pasar Tani Kampung Quop recently.

The carnival was organised by Kampung Quop Farmers Unit in collaboration with Pusat Ekonomi Digital Keluarga Malaysia, which aimed to provide opportunities for traders as well as to train them and farmers at Kampung Quop Dayak.
