MIRI: A snatching incident occurred in front of a secondary school at Jalan Temenggong Lawai Jau here today resulting in injuries to a teenage boy and his mother.
The boy sustained injuries on his cheek after being attacked with a pocketknife by the suspect during the incident.
The suspect who was riding a motorcycle reportedly smashed the woman’s car window which was parked by the roadside, before snatching her handbag and cellphone from inside the car.
Earlier, the victim was picking up her son from school when the incident occurred. Police has been alerted of the incident.
