KUCHING: Local franchise brand SugarBun extended Chinese New Year celebrations to both the young and elderly here.

The event included visiting the residents of Rumah Seri Kenangan Old Folk’s Home on Feb 5 and opening their restaurant to children of the Salvation Army on Feb 8.

According to a press statement by SugarBun, the events were part of its yearly corporate social responsibility (CSR) project.

During both occasions, meals, gifts and red packets were given to all 68 residents and 26 caretakers of the old folk’s home and 80 children and 10 caretakers of the Salvation Army, Boys Home and students of a Special Needs learning centre.
