SUPP Kuching provides food aid


KUCHING: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Kuching branch recently provided food aid to households that raised white flags.

“The public notified us on the white flags which were raised at one of the buildings at Jalan Sungai Padungan.

“The team lead by Pemanca Datuk John Tiong followed by Cr Jong Yean Pin, Cr Bong Lian Huan, Kapitan Datuk Philip Hii and Kapitan Hu Chi Poh distributed food aid to 10 families,” it said in a statement on Sunday (July 11).

Jong stated that SUPP Kuching branch is always ready to help the needy since the Covid-19 pandemic started last year.

“Since the white flag campaign started, I am very grateful that there are many Samaritans in Kuching who have offered their help to those who are in need of food aid,” he said.
