SUPP to hold special convention on Saturday

KUCHING: The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) special convention will be held in conjunction with the 60th year of Sarawak independence.

To be held this coming Saturday at its headquarters from 9 am to 5 pm, all delegates and members throughout the state will be joining to celebrate the occasion.

“The expected crowd attendance will be 650 to 700 members and Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg will be attending and officiating at the special convention.

“On top of that, some well-known speakers and commentators are invited to give talks on current political situation,” SUPP said in a press release.

The event is organised by the organising working committee led by Michael Tiang Ming Tee, who is SUPP Central youth chief cum organising chairman for the event committee together with organising secretary Datuk Matthew Chen Thin Kong and Political Secretaries to Premier of Sarawak, Angellie Stephen Raja, Kho Teck Wan, Kua Jack Seng and Niponi Undek.
