Taib invited to Citrawarna Keluarga Malaysia’s opening today

KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud has been invited to be the guest of honour to attend the opening ceremony of Citrawarna Keluarga Malaysia 2022  at the Kuching Waterfront today.

According to a statement yesterday, the invitation was extended during a courtesy visit made by  Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri at Demak Jaya.

Also present was the Secretary of the Event Management Division, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), Radzi Omar.

Citrawarna Keluarga Malaysia aims to promote Kuching as  UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

Sarawak’s capital became the first city in Malaysia to be accepted to the Unesco Creative Cities Network (UCCN) in the field of gastronomy in Nov last year.
