KUCHING: The office of Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan has urged a Facebook user by the account name of ‘Pemanca Nombor Satu’ to take down a post made against the deputy chief minister and apologise immediately.

“The post made by the individual is fake and malicious. Any post with evil motivations aimed at disrupting stability, unity, or inciting racial prejudice is not the way of politics in Sarawak.

“If the individual fails to do so, a report will be made and filed to the police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission,” said the office in a statement yesterday (Sept 27).

The statement was made in response to the individual sharing a Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) news link in a group in which he made baseless accusations against Awang Tengah.
