BINTULU: Three persons, including a woman, were injured in an early morning collision between a sedan and a 4WD.
The state Fire and Rescue Operations Centre (Bomba) was alerted to the accident at 8.12 am at a traffic light junction in Jalan Airport Baru, here yesterday (Mar 23).
Firemen from the Bintulu fire station were deployed to the scene. The three victims sustained injuries.
“The team arrived and found two damaged vehicles where the 4WD vehicle rammed into the sedan which had hit a lamp post.
“No one was trapped in the vehicles. However, the driver of the 4WD sustained light injuries.
“The man (driver) of the sedan suffered injuries to the head, while the passenger of the vehicle sustained slight injuries,” Bomba said.
The victims were treated by medical officials at the scene before being transported to Bintulu Hospital.
