Top student gets seat in Japanese varsity

MIRI: One of SM Sains Miri’s Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia (SPM) 2021 top achievers, Muhamad Irqfan Shah Yusli, 18, from Kampung Kelulit, Bekenu, will further his studies in Japan for four years after completing a two-year diploma-level chemical engineering at Universiti Malaya.

Muhamad has been offered a seat by a university in Japan to further his studies.

On yesterday, Deputy Women  Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Minister Datuk Rosey Yunus presented a cash incentive  to Muhamad who was represented by his parents Yusli Saji and Rohani Siaban

Rosey congratulated Muhamad’s parents for their son’s success in obtaining excellent results in his SPM 2021. Muhamad who sat for nine subjects scored 8A+ and 1A.
