“At Sarawak Skills, we take great pride in complementing the government and the industries in our joint effort to develop the state and nation’s human capital. We are grateful for the tremendous support from the government and the various sectors of the industry.

“Concerning the industries, I am pleased that over the years, the various industry sectors have played a leading role in managing and determining the direction of Sarawak Skills through their representatives in the Sarawak Skills Management Council.

“Currently, Sarawak Skills has more than 70 members from various industry sectors. The Government’s and our members’ numerous contributions to Sarawak Skills’ multipronged approach to talent development have facilitated the transformation of Sarawak’s economic and digital landscape in line with the Sarawak Post Covid-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030),” Hallman said

He added that with the continued support of the government and their strategic partners from the industries including Sarawak Metro Sdn. Bhd, they will be able to raise the bar in a joint effort(s) to develop an industry-ready workforce and support the upcoming green and blue economy initiatives in Sarawak.
