Two injured in early morning accident involving three vehicles

MIRI: Two people were rushed to Miri Hospital early Monday (Dec 12) following a three-vehicle accident at Miri-Bakam road.

Acting Miri Fire and Rescue Department chief Ahmad Nizam Sapaiee said firefighters were called to the scene at 5.01am.

The accident involved a four-wheel drive (4WD), a sedan and a motorcycle.

“One driver had to be extricated from the sedan using special equipment,” he said.

Meanwhile, the driver of the 4WD was unharmed. The rescue operation ended around 6.13am.
