KUCHING: Uniform Combine Exercise 2023 (UNICOMBEX) is an effort to continue moulding national heroes, especially among tertiary students.
Deputy Minister of Women, Children and Community Welfare, Mohammad Razi Sitam said this is because the young generation is the backbone and hope of the country in the future.
“Therefore, this initiative can unite the young generation to face any threat from the aspect of thought and culture alongside the speed of technology today,” he said.
He said this while officiating at the closing ceremony of UNICOMBEX 2023 here, today.
The seventh edition of the UNICOMBEX 2023 was held with the aim of showcasing the involvement of uniformed bodies in carrying out challenging activities as a group to discover the leadership potential and test the physical and mental endurance of the participants.
A total of 269 participants were involved consisting of Territorial Soldiers (42 people); TLDM Reservist Training Team (PLASTLDM) (87 people), Civil Defense Institution Team (PISPA) (52 people), Student Volunteers (RELASIS) (22 people) and TLDM Reserve Team (PSSTLDM) (66 people).
