KOTA SAMARAHAN: History was created with the launch of UNIMASfm and TV UNIMAS here yesterday.

UNIMASfm is a campus radio station managed by the Endowment and Waqf Division of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas).

It acts as a platform for their students and staff members to reach out to members of the public.

To date, more than 20 industry players have showed their support in the form of sponsorships.

However, Unimas invites more companies, public and private agencies, alumni members and any individuals who are willing to work together and provide their support to UNIMASfm and TV UNIMAS in various forms other than sponsorship, such as training and sharing information and experiences.

It will also provide the opportunity to identify new talents among staff members and students in the broadcasting world.

The launching ceremony was attended by Unimas Vice-Chancellor Professor Datuk Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi at the university’s mini-studio, yesterday.

UNIMASfm can be accessed through www.endowment.unimas.my.
