Unimas receives donation from ACEC China, Wuzi University


KUCHING: Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) vaccination centre (PPV) received a donation from Asean-China Education and Culture (ACEC) Association and Beijing Wuzi University.

The donation included 2,400 bottles of mineral water, 500 instant cup noodles and 2,000 packs of biscuits.

ACEC China executive director Yang Chengcheng handed over the supplies to Covid-19 Committee Unimas chairman Prof Datuk Mohd Fadzil Abd Rahman, today (June 24).

Beijing Wuzi University is one of the partners working with Unimas to promote and facilitate international cultural and educational exchanges and cooperation between the Belt and Road countries and China.

Apart from that, it also build a platform for cooperation between governments, universities, research institution and industrial companies.

The donation of food and drinks supplies from the association was to support the effort and dedication made by the frontline staff and volunteers at the PPV.
