Upgrade in store for sporting arenas

SEBUYAU: More sports amenities have been earmarked for several villages here under the Rural Transformation programme (RTP) this year.

Sebuyau Administrative Officer, Ajis Ahmad, said among the new projects were the upgrading of the Kampung Baru Sebuyau futsal field to a tune of RM400,000, the project to upgrade the martial art court for Silat Helang Putih Perkasa Kampung Masjid (RM100,000), the construction of the Kampung Sawmill archery arena (RM100,000) and the upgrading of the Silat Jurus 21 Sebuyau (RM100,000).

He hoped the implementation of the RTP projects would benefit the residents.

On Wednesday (March 2), he visited several of the sites involved together with the implementing agency.

Also present during the visit were representatives from the Public Works Department (PWD), Samarahan Division and representatives from the Land and Survey Department, Samarahan Division.
