KUCHING: Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) is organising its Cyber Open Day beginning from August 8 until August 30.
The event will be held daily, excluding public holidays, between 9am and 5pm.
The Cyber Open Day is done in three stages according to respective themes, namely Engineering, ICT and Physical Sciences Day from August 8 to 14; Life, Medical and Health Sciences Day from August 15 to 21; and Business, Creative Industries and Social Sciences Day from August 22 to 30.
“All visitors may visit our virtual booth to obtain programme information, financial aid, admission procedure, to view photos and videos, to tour our campus virtually,” it said in a statement issued on Wednesday (Aug 5).
Utar noted that visitors may also engage in a live chat for programme enquiries, and participate in the career guidance test.
“For those who are indecisive on what to study, please join the Career Guidance webinar which is scheduled on August 9 for English and August 15 for Mandarin.
“The webinar will briefly introduce the different personalities as a guidance to choose the programme that suits you,” it said.
The webinars will be held on a daily basis from 2pm until 3pm and broadcast live from Zoom and Utar’s official Facebook page.
