KUCHING: A 33-year-old Vietnamese woman was handed a fine of RM2,200 in default four months’ jail by the Magistrate’s Court for soliciting for the purpose of prostitution here.
Tran Thi Huyen from Hai Phong, Vietnam committed the offence at about 8.30 pm in a room at Hotel Hua Kuok Inn at Ban Hock Road on Jan 3.
Among others police seized a condom and RM250 from the scene.
The case was presided by Magistrate Syarifah Fatimah Azura Wan Ali.
