KUCHING: A washing machine was completely destroyed when it suddenly went up in flames at a house in Jalan Siol Kandis today.
State Bomba said that a distress call about the incident was received at 2.10pm and a team of firemen from Petra Jaya fire station was immediately despatched to the fire scene.
Upon arrival, the firefighters immediately extinguished the fire and managed to control it from burning and damaging the house.
No casualties were reported and the operation ended at 2.27pm.
