KUCHING: Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Datuk Wee Hong Sent visited the Majma Mall vaccination centre (PPV) to oversee the vaccination process of students aged 12 to 15 which started this week in Kuching district.

“The vaccination given today consists of students from SMK Batu Lintang and Lodge School which are located under MBKS jurisdiction.

“I would like to remind parents to send their children for their vaccination according to the given date and time,” he advised.

He also reminded parents to bring all relevant documents to avoid any delays or problems during registration.

“We as parents need to protect our children from this Covid-19. Our children are our treasure and we need to play our role to ensure they are fully vaccinated and protected from this virus.

“Avoid bringing your children to public places at the moment. Stay home as much as possible until they manage to complete two doses of vaccine.

“Children within the age range are very vulnerable and prone to get infected with the virus. So we need to stay alert at all times,” he said.
