KUCHING: Wee Pei Chai is the new president of Kuching Toastmasters Club (KTMC).The club inducted its 32nd executive committee members for the 2019-2020 term at a dinner recently. The other executive committee members are Hubert Poh, Aiman Farhah, Chok Sze Jin, Diana Ha, Kevin Voon, Lance Vin and Phyllis Ho. Prior to the induction, outgoing president Wong King Hong paid tribute to his committee member who had served the club with unflinching support and dedication during his term.
During the dinner, various members were recognised for their Toastmasters Education achievements. Topping the list was Chok Sze Jin who won the much coveted Toastmaster of the Year Award.
Following the formalities, members and guests were treated to fine cuisine and merrymaking, the highlight of which was a mesmerising performance by opera singer Michael King.
