KUCHING: A woman who had a quarrel with her family members tried to commit suicide in her bedroom by slashing herself with a broken glass bottle at Kpg Hilir, Serian at about 9 am yesterday. Firemen were called to the scene and they have to break down the bedroom door to get to the woman.
The woman was then rushed to Serian Hospital and is being warded for observation and treatment.
