KUCHING: The thoughtful approach shown by youth leaders highlights their clear understanding of goals and balanced solutions.
According to the Minister of Youth, Sport and Entrepreneurship Development Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, the proposals and ideas presented during the meeting go beyond casual suggestions.
“These suggestions are not fleeting notions exchanged at coffee shops; they carry weight and require thorough examination and enhancement by the government and relevant departments,” he said during the Sarawak-level Majlis Perundingan Belia Negara held at Merdeka Palace today (Aug 29).
The event brought together around eighty individuals from different government bodies, agencies, and youth leadership positions for discussions.
He said that this platform serves as an opportunity for young leaders to present their ideas, and it’s the responsibility of government bodies to carefully study, analyse, and, if viable, put them into action.
