BINTULU: The youth are urged to continue to be active in sports activities.

It is not only to encourage the community to be active and fit by engaging in various sports activities, but it also aims to make sports a healthy lifestyle and daily practice and improve the health and productivity of the community.

Jepak assemblyman Iskandar Turkee said that youth involvement in sports activities such as takraw is not only a starting point for young people to hone their talents in the sport but can also be a stepping stone for them to participate in high-level competitions.

In addition, he said, it can also bring pride to their own reputation, family and the place they represent when they achieve success.

“Because of that, I fully support such activities, especially involving the youth,” he said when inaugurating the 23 Libas Youth Cup Sepak Takraw Tournament at the Jepak Heritage Lot Sepak Takraw Stadium, Kampung Warisan Jepak, recently.
