23,970 booster shots already dispensed in Miri division

MIRI: As of Monday (Nov 1), 23,970 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine booster shots have been administered in this division.

Transport Minister Datuk Sri Lee Kim Shin and minister in charge of the Miri Division Disaster Management Committee  said October 14, the  breakdown of the number of vaccines administered in this division were 19,157 doses in Miri; 1,081 doses in Marudi; 2,701 doses in Subis; 619 does in Beluru and 412 doses in Telang Usan.

He disclosed this after visiting three private vaccination centre here on Tuesday (Nov 2).

This morning, he visited Columbia Asia Hospital; Miri City Medical Centre (MCMC) and Lee Clinic.

Lee also reminded the public not to listen to those spreading untrue facts about the Covid-19 booster shots.

“The booster shots are important to stop infection. During my visit this morning to these three private vaccination centres, three nonagenarians received their booster shots,” he said.
