KUCHING: Sarawak recorded 335 Covid-19 cases in Epidemiological (Epid) Week 26, a slight decrease from Week 25, which recorded 354.
The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said out of the 335 cases, 325 were Category 1 and 2 while 10 were either Category 3, 4 or 5.
Kuching topped the list with 114 cases, followed by Miri (62), Sibu (61), Bintulu (23) and Samarahan (15).
SDMC also stated that 21 districts recorded single-digit cases, namely Limbang (seven), Serian (six); Sarikei, Bau, Mukah, Dalat, Lawas, Kanowit (four); Sri Aman, Betong, Lubok Antu, Tebedu (three); Saratok and Subis (two) while Simunjan, Lundu, Tatau, Daro, Song, Pusa and Tanjung Manis (one).
To date, Sarawak’s cumulative Covid-19 cases stand at 308,006. No deaths were reported during Epid Week 26.
