JULAU: A total of 5,600 households in Meluan state constituency will receive food aid under the Sarawakku Sayang Special Assistance (BKSS) 6.0 following the re-implementation of the movement control order (MCO).
According to Meluan assemblyman Roland Duat Jubin, the distribution of the aid had already started since Tuesday.
“We will distribute the food aid based on the list provided by the relevant government agencies.
“Among the areas that already received this assistance are Jalan Julau-Nanga Entabai, Merurun, Nanga Entabai, Lasi and Ulu Entaih.
“It is hoped that residents who have not yet received this aid will be patient in waiting their turns,” he said.
Today, Roland and his team distributed the food aid to the residents around Lasi.
