Windows 10 is getting an update at the end of May — and will mean those of us who miss the classic blue design can have it back after all.

The current version of Windows 10 features a design that’s heavy on the black, but with the new update, the task bar, menu and many other backgrounds can be turned light blue again.

By clicking on “Settigs” > “Personalisation” > “Themes” you can choose to have “Windows (Light)” instead of the dark theme.

Other than the colour, the new update will also give speech assistant Cortana its own interface, instead of having it in the search bar.

That means that in the future, if you search for something in the search bar, you’ll only get the usual results, instead of having the additional ones Cortana finds online. – dpa
