KUCHING: Parti Bangsa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDSB) has announced that a local boy, Johnny Chuat, as the party potential candidate for Lubok Antu parliamentary constituency in the coming 14th general election (GE14).
Johnny Chuat is a mechanical engineer and has worked with an Oil and Gas Company. He also holds a degree in Journalism and Communications from Carleton University, Canada.
Hails from Rumah Mujah, Nanga Menyebat, Lemanak, Lubok Antu, Johnny claimed that a majority of the people in Lemanak and in Ulu Engkari areas knows him very well and most of them are his close relatives.
He has done a lot of charity works for the people in the areas.
Johnny is presently doing a full time publishing business. A well known Iban magazine, ‘Majalah PEGARI’ is one of his company products.
He is also a Supreme Council member of PBDS Baru.
