KUCHING: The Kuching South City Council (MBKS) has taken immediate action to rectify the landslip problem that occurred at SMK Kuching High recently.
MBKS said the exposed area would be covered to reduce further water seepage and also to reduce the carriageway and path surface runoff to flow away from the area.
While precautionary measures are being carried out, the Public Works Department (PWD) will provide its recommendation to solve the landslip issue soon.
The landslide incident occurred on Jan 13, about 80m from the school building.
Earlier on Friday (Jan 15), MBKS mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng inspected the area.
