SGH seeks help to trace patient’s kin

KUCHING: The Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) is seeking public help in tracing the family members of a Chinese male patient known as Ng Thian Nam, 79.

According to SGH in a statement on Thursday, the patient was brought to the Emergency and Trauma Department by his friend on August 3 and admitted to the Surgical Ward for further treatment.

“The patient has two siblings and one of them lives in Landeh, Jalan Batu 10, Kuching.

“Ng however stated that he has not been contacted with his siblings for a long time,” it said.

SGH said that the intervention of family members is essential to help the patient get appropriate treatment.

“The patient’s last address was at Jin San Chevrolet Kuching, Lot 5022, Block 16, Jalan Sherip Masahor, 93250 Kuching, Sarawak.

“SGH calls upon any public member who knows the patient or has any information regarding his family members to come to the Surgery Ward, Floor 7, or contact the Medical Officer, Dr. Max Tieh at 013-862 8339,” it said via a statement.
