KUCHING: The North Sarawak Journalists Association (NSJA) received a donation from Shun Shen Lee Trading (Miri) Sdn Bhd today in support of its blood donation programme.

The programme will be held on Jan 2, 2023, from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm at 1st Floor New Wing, Bintang Megamall Miri.

NSJA president Andy Jong Wan Joon revealed that Shun Shen Lee Trading (Miri) Sdn Bhd donated an unlimited amount of Shunrice Shun Flower AAA one kilogramme rice packs to all donors who successfully donated blood on that day.

“Miri Hospital director Dr Jack Wong Siew Yu will inaugurate at the blood donation programme at 11 am that day.

“The blood donation programme organised by NSJA aims to help the Miri Hospital’s blood bank to get a sufficient supply of blood to meet the demands of our community, especially with festive season coming up soon,” he said.

He said that this blood donation programme is organised by NSJA in collaboration with Shun Shen Lee Trading (Miri) Sdn Bhd, Miri Hospital Blood Bank, Miri Hospital and MRC Miri Chapter, sponsored by Regal Marketing & Trading Sdn Bhd (Indocafe), The Twin Brothers Patisserie, Miri City Council and the Lions Club of Batu Niah.

“With that, the blood donors will get white bread, Indocafe, limited edition Angpow packet by NSJA and calendar, on top of the rice pack mentioned,” he added.

The public who are willing to donate blood are welcomed to join the programme with the registration counter opening up by 9.30 am to 1.00 pm on that day.
