68 students attend Kem Aspirasi State Level 2017

BETONG: Sixty-eight students from 11 schools attended Kem Aspirasi State Level 2017 programme organised by State Department of Information at Kem PLKN Bukit Saban from 3 to 6 March.   

Betong Acting Resident Friday Belik officiated at the programme’s closing and presented prizes to the participants.

The 11 schools are SMK Melugu, SMK Ulu Layar, SMK St. Augustine, SMK BM Saratok, SMK Kabong, SMK Sungai Paoh, SMK Maradong, SMK Pakan, SMK Julau, SMK Belawai and SMK Matu.

The programme combined two main components of an academic nature and self-improvement, and implemented through lectures, training groups (LDKs) and motivated leisure activities.

Also present were Sarawak Information Director Abang Sardon Abang Hashim, Deputy Director of Education Shahrom Jais and Betong District Office’s representative Christina Peter.
