KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg yesterday received a courtesy call from the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) chief Gen Tan Sri Zulkifli Zainal Abidin at his office in Petra Jaya here.
The visit was also participated by the First Division commander Maj-Gen Datuk Md Din Abu, Eastern Field Command commander Lt-Gen Datuk Wira Zamrose Mohd Zain, and Border Regiment chairman Maj-Gen Datuk Azlan Abd Rahman; it aimed to enhance ties between ATM and the state government.
Shortly after the visit, Abang Johari also received a courtesy call from Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) led by its president Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian; the purpose of the visit was to discuss certain issues.
