SIBU: Three hundred people from various backgrounds participated in a seminar entitled ‘Harnessing the Magic of AI to Lead the Future of Business,’ organised by The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) recently.

According to the association’s statement yesterday (Nov 16), the seminar, hosted by the Sibu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI), was successfully held on November 8 at 7 pm on the second floor of Toh Siong Hall at SCCCI.

The association also organised a course, namely, “Borrowing Brain: AI Igniting Your Business Competitiveness Course,” on November 6 and 7 from 9 am to 5 pm at the same hall.

“The course aimed to provide an understanding of the basic concepts and operations of artificial intelligence (AI) and making data-driven decisions.

“It also taught participants how to utilise ChatGPT for sales and market analysis, brand image establishment, brand awareness enhancement, brand strategy development, adjustment based on market trends and competitors, as well as data-driven planning and optimisation of marketing strategies and funnels.

“ChatGPT was also available for assistance in preparing business proposals, PowerPoint presentations, letters, gaining more business opportunities and a competitive edge in the market, content creation and editing and graphic design, among other functions,” the association said.
