KUCHING: It was a happy moment for one sick woman in Bintangor when receiving a patient’s bed donated by Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii on Wednesday (May 19).
Kou Lee Kian, 53, is unable to move and is now bedridden at her home under the care of her family.
Huang’s donation in the form of the bed was to ease the burden of Kou and her family, and also to make her comfortable staying at home.
The patient bed was sent over to the family home and set up by members of the Repok Service Centre representing Huang.
