KUCHING: A total of 15 people attended an aquaculture course on basic fish rearing in brackish water ponds.
The course organised by the Marine Fisheries Department was held at Pusa in Betong Division from 1-3 August.
The participants were from target groups selected from areas in the Betong Division.
During the three-day course the participants were taught how to prepare and manage the ponds as well as the kinds of fish suitable.
The closing and certificate presentation ceremony was graced by Deputy Director of State Marine Fisheries Department, Haliza Sulaiman.
