KUCHING: Kota Sentosa assemblyman Wilfred Yap has offered financial aid to an 82-year-old sick octogenarian at Lorong 22A, Stampin Resettlement Scheme here today.
He is facing physical challenges due to prostate and Parkinson’s disease and urgently required a medical bed.
Upon receiving the request for help, Yap, representing Biro Kebajikan Kota Sentosa, personally delivered a medical bed to him.
The handover ceremony was witnessed by Temenggong Datuk Tan Joo Phoi, Datuk Kiung Choi Hin, and Kapitan Boon Voon Min.
In a statement, Yap reassured the community of his unwavering commitment to serve the people of Kota Sentosa, regardless of their background, beliefs, or political affiliations.
He is dedicated to supporting the most underprivileged and vulnerable in the area by providing essential medical equipment and other necessities.
