SIBU: In supporting the fight against Covid-19, Sacred Heart Old Students’ Association (Shosa) and St Elizabeth Old Students’ Association (Seosa) will cancel its 2020 Reunion, scheduled for March 28.
Shosa and Seosa in a statement said that alumni from both associations held an emergency meeting on Friday evening regarding the cancellation of the reunion, and all of the executive committee members fully supported the decision.
A total of 600 guests from Shosa comprising former students and teachers, current school teachers and board members have confirmed their attendance, while Seosa was expecting 400 guests.
Over the last decade, their annual reunions have typically drawn 800 to 1,000 people.
