KUCHING: The Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability disbursed funds totalling RM70,000 to eight registered associations last Tuesday (July 4)
Deputy Minister Dr Hazland Abang Hipni handed over the funds to the recipients during a simple ceremony at his office on Tuesday (July 4).
Dr Hazland hoped the funds would assist the associations to plan activities and implement programmes beneficial to the people.
The recipients were Tabika Kemas Bako Hijrah, Tabung Jawatankuasa Tilawah Al-Quran Daerah Kuching, Kelas Kerohanian Kemas Kampung Tabuan Cemerlang, Tetuan Wanita N5 Demak Laut, Majlis Kebajikan, Kebudayaan & Riadah JPN (Sarawak), Persatuan Alumni JOSIPA 82 and Persatuan Anak Sarawak Melaka.
