KUCHING: The Bandar Kuching Service Centre has allocated funds for SK St Thomas to build a new classroom.
According to Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii, the classroom would be used for Mandarin class and other elective classes.
In addition, he said his office had also funded an additional room that would be used as a PA system room located next to the stage.
“I always encourage the school to inform me if they are unhappy with the quality of work done by the contractor so that we can talk to them (contractors) and ensure that quality is never compromised.
“We will continue to assist and invest in schools all around our constituency to help provide a more conducive learning environment for our students and teachers,” Dr Yii said.
