MIRI: Excavation work by Pan Borneo Highway project contractors caused a pipe leakage and consquently water disruption in three areas in Bekenu since Saturday.
According to the Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) on today, instructions have been given to carry out repair work immediately because the leakage had affected water supply in Beluru, Bukit Song and Bukit Peninjau.
The department and Pan Borneo contractors would in the meantime deliver water to the affected areas using tankers.
